Interns and Grads

You have completed the courses, you are ready to graduate, now what?

Step 1:
Contact your Career Services Department about your campus procedures and protocol. Ask for the Salmon Sims Thomas recruiting schedule for on campus first round interviews.

Step 2:
After the first round of interviews, you will receive a letter notifying you about the next round of interviews.

Step 3: 
A second round of interviews will include an office visit.  During this interview, you will meet with our senior staff personnel and peers.  Prior to scheduling the third interview, we will ask you for your references.    

Step 4:
The third interview is conducted by a third party.  We use a third party as an outside resource to give us another perspective of our candidates.  After completion of the third interview, we will make a hiring decision based on all our information.

Throughout the process, our recruiting department will keep you informed of your status and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

The First Year 

The first year at Salmon Sims Thomas lays the groundwork for your career with us.  You’ll be exposed to many different aspects of the company.  We will provide you with training opportunities and resources so you can follow the career path that you envisioned during your college years.

We are committed to your success. As a new employee, you will be assigned a senior auditor who will guide you through your career development and answer the many questions that will come up during your first few months with the company.

You will receive ongoing feedback on your progress. During the first six months of employment, you will receive an audit evaluation after each audit assignment.

A performance evaluation will be given six months and again in another six months.  The evaluation will be based on your work performance as well as your contribution to the company.
