While most of our audit services are for defined contribution plans - including 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing and ESOP - we also provide audit services for welfare benefit plans. We perform both limited-scope and full-scope audits. As long as the Department of Labor continues to accept limited-scope opinions, we will continue to perform them, when possible, and when our clients request them. This approach saves either the company or the plan resources that can be used elsewhere. We are experienced with the additional disclosure requirements under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 ("ERISA") and the Schedule G supplemental schedules that accompany Form 5500. We don't want our plan clients to have their returns "kicked-back" for incomplete disclosures! |
