    Julie Fry, CPA, has been with Salmon Sims Thomas since November of 1996 and currently serves as Salmon Sims Thomas' CFO. Julie is also a member of Salmon Sims Thomas' tax staff, has extensive experience in the nonprofit arena and serves as a member of the Firm's Nonprofit Focus Group. Julie graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor of business administration. She continued her post-graduate work in accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas. She has been a guest speaker to the National Association of Church Business Administrators and the Center for Nonprofit Management, speaking on various tax issues regarding nonprofit entities. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas Society of CPAs, the Fort Worth Chapter of TSCPA, the National Association of Church Business Administration and the Christian Management Association. Julie is also a member of the national, state and local chapters of the Association for Accounting Administration, serving as the president of the state organization.
