| Changes in Audit Standards - Understanding SAS 112
The
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA) Auditing
Standards Board issued a new code of standard in May 2006 regarding
communication of internal controls. The document, Statements on
Auditing Standards No. 112, (SAS No. 112) is applicable whenever an
auditor expresses an opinion on financial statements (including a
disclaimer of opinion). It is effective for audits of financial
statements for periods ending on or after December 15, 2006.
